She experiences a taste of military life through the eyes of loved ones. Watching their service, she understands how military benefits must be known and accessible to make an impact.

Combining this view with her career in communication, Abbey joined Heroes-Initiative to provide growth via social media and expand awareness for the mission. She desires to uplift the Veteran and Service Member community and ensure that our gratitude toward them does not end.
